This month we speak to our friend Kanan Keeny (pictured) who has recently become a credited writer on the Jay-Z album 4:44. He wrote the title track 'Late Nights & Heartbreaks' on the 2016 album by Hannah Williams & The Affirmations.
Then in an totally unpredictable turn of events, Jay Z reworked the song for the title track of HIS album 4:44. On this podcast Kanan talks about the story behind this, and we talk to Jai Widdowson-Jones, drummer and band manager, about how this success is playing out for the band.
